Welcome to the Honey B’s website! I am the “Queen B,” Brittany Ramirez, founder and your waxing specialist. I was born and raised in San Jose, California and have had a passion for all things hair and beauty related for as long as I can remember! This passion blossomed into a career path in 2013, when I left community college to pursue cosmetology school at The Cosmofactory in Santa Cruz. After finishing my license in 2014, I immediately pursued a career in hair for a year before realizing that it was not what I really wanted to be doing.

Unsure of where to go next with my license, I explored the world of different beauty and wellness companies in search of anything that sparked that passion I felt growing up. As I dove into companies such as Aveda, Bare Minerals, Sephora, and Origins, it became clear to me that something I felt strongly about was taking care of both ourselves and the world that we live in. I wanted to give my clients an experience where they felt refreshed and radiant while using products that they can trust.

Shortly after, I found my way into waxing and quickly noticed how great it felt to watch customers leave with a little extra confidence after a fresh wax! Since then, I have focused solely on waxing. I have worked meticulously for the past three and a half years to hone my skills, paying keen attention to detail and working efficiently with clients to give them the best possible experience! Now, in an effort to combine my love for great products and excellent service, I am opening my own salon! I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me, and I hope you all will “buzz” on down to Capitola and say hello!
